ClearShield®: clear liquid laminate for non-water-sensitive ink/media combinations
ClearShield® is your first choice for all non-water-sensitive applications. We created ClearShield® using state-of-the-art resins and ultraviolet inhibitors that protect the substrate, ink, and the clear coating itself. These non-yellowing clear coatings have excellent exterior durability and are highly flexible.
Use ClearShield® on most substrates, including waterproof canvas, vinyl, banners, fiberglass, wood, metal, plastic, and paper. You can apply it over solvent-based inks and most water-based paint systems. ClearShield® is available in several versions. This chart gives you information about each product.

• Increases UV, water, and exceptional chemical resistance
• One quart covers approximately 120 square feet, gallon covers 480 square feet
• All Clear Shield liquid laminates can be applied with a roller, sprayer, or used in a liquid laminator. For best results with TYPELL use a white foam high density short nap roller
• For Eco-solvent Inks use Clearshield Original for all applications, including vehicle graphics.
• For Solvent Inks you may use any ClearShield version. ClearShield VG offers increased conformability over rivets.
