Cast vinyl is made by pouring liquid plastic onto a release liner and then allowing it to cure under heat.
This process results in vinyl that is very durable, thinner and very dimensionally stable with less shrinkage than calendered vinyl.
Since it is thinner it will conform to non-uniform surfaces better.
Use this vinyl for longer term applications such as lettering on the side of trucks, billboards, large signs, pin striping and boat graphics.
Any use where there is an expectation of long life is a good application for cast vinyl.
