Creation Vinyl Cutter Window Tint Kit

Creation Mechanical And Electrical Click Here

This kit will provide the parts necessary to help you cut window tint with your Creation cutter.
Kit includes:
Low force pinch rollers for tint
Carbide Clean Cut blade for tint
Static string
Spare PTFE cutting strip
Tint is particuarly difficult to cut on vinyl cutters.
The Creation cutters do a great job on tint because they have good force control at lower force values and have a full length vacuum.
They also have a continuous sand roller drive bar which allows you to place your pinch rollers anywhere along the width.
See our blog post titled Cutting Window Tint With A Vinyl Cutter for more details on cutting tint.

For this package, you will need to remove the center pinch rollers on your cutter and install the lighter force rollers in the center. The lighter force rollers should not damage the tint. Higher force rollers should be used along the outside edges of the tint. The pinch rollers slide off the rail in the raised position on the far left side. There is a small retention fastener on the back of the cutter that will need to be removed to allow the rollers to slide off the end of the rail.
The static string should be fastened into the side plates of the cutter with fasteners that tap into the metal allowing for good ground contact. This string will dissipate static generated by the tint material. Tint is particularly prone to static generation.
The carbide tint blade has a shallow angle for cutting tint and sliding on the surface (as opposed to causing bunching). The blade is very sharp and will last a long time. Dial your force down to a minimum value when first using this blade and add force gradually with a test cut to avoid cutting through your cutting strip.
The spare cutting strip is supplied to allow you to have one on hand in the event you damage your existing strip. Window tint cutting is very dependent on the quality of the cutting strip. We recommend having spare strips on hand. Changing the strip can be challenging. Please see our blog post / video on changing the cutting strip.
